Planning Poker is a relative sizing estimation technique to estimate the Product Backlog Items. The Development Team uses this technique to estimate the Product Backlog Items in Product Backlog Refinement or in Sprint Planning. This is a consensus based estimation technique that uses one or two reference items based on complexity, uncertainty and volume of work.
