Is it fine if Product owner skips the Scrum events?
Product owner is required in Part I of Sprint Planning and the Sprint Review, Retrospective and optional in other ceremonies.
As a member of the “Scrum Team”, we would hope that the Product Owner would be actively engaged in other ceremonies, as appropriate, and their absence might result in some degree of sub-optimization.
