What is the reporting structure for Product Owners in Scrum team?
Within the Scrum Team there is no reporting structure to enhance trust and transparency. However, within the organization there can be reporting structure. In my previous organization which is a product based company, there is a product management team of 30 to 40 headed by a senior vice president. All the engineering teams are part of the engineering vertical. Scrum Masters are grouped under Agile CoE. So for a new product Scrum teams will be formed from these groups. So it depends based on the organizational structure.
