Yes I do. Story mapping technique is helpful in release planning to come up with a meaningful and valuable piece of functionality for release. It has a backbone based on user activities and a walking skeleton that contains the user stories for those activities. The user stories are prioritised and from there top most few based on the backbone functionality. I use it for most of my release planning.
