Is Definition of Done is same as Definition of Ready?
In Scrum there is no Definition of Ready. But there is no harm using a Definition of Ready as an additional practice. Definition of Ready and Definition of Done are not the same. Definition of Done (DoD) is a simple list of activities that create shared understanding between the Product owner and the Developers on what “Done” means. Definition of Ready (DoR) is a sort of criteria or at times checklist that determine whether a story is “Ready” to be picked into a sprint. Simply, DoR is an entry criteria and the DoD is an exit criteria.
