Suppose, you are the product owner and the “client” and the Scrum Master is the representative of the delivery entity (vendor company), how do you best collaborate?
We both are into leadership roles, as a Product owner I have product leadership and as a Scrum Master he/she has process and practices leadership without yielding any authority. Both depend on each other for the Scrum Team’s success, for example, accomplishing a Sprint Goal.
Day to day, I (product owner) am responsible for promptly providing feedback on product matters, clarifying goals, and ensuring that everyone on the Scrum Team understands the product Goal and product backlog items. The Scrum Master, in return, needs to support me (product owner) in building an actionable Product Backlog while facilitating an effective collaboration within the Scrum Team in general.
