You a product committee with a group of people. They will have a meeting regularly and applies a kind of stage gate control process to review and approve new features into the Product backlog. Can you act as a credible Product Owner, in this kind of situation?
As per the given situation, I feel I am not the Product owner rather I am a kind of proxy who takes the orders. I may just get the things done by the Developers but I do not have any empowerment and decision making in my hand as a Product Owner. So in my opinion, this is not a true Scrum.
