According to Scrum “The Product Owner is accoutable for maximizing the value of the product”. In order to achieve this, the product owner has to participate in several activities, as listed below:
– Participate in Scrum events, Sprint planning, Sprint Review and Retrospective
– Collaborate with the Stakeholders
– Having management meetings
– Backlog management
– Product backlog refinement
– Market research and user research
– Using the product as an end user to see any improvements are possible
– Talking to the UX/UI members for upcoming backlog items
– Tracking the release progress
