What is velocity and how to measure it and how is it relevant to the Product owner?
Velocity is the amount of work a Scrum Team can complete in Sprint. Velocity is calculated at the end of the Sprint by totalling the Story Points for all User Stories that met the Definition of Done. Velocity helps product owner to understand at what rate the Developers are creating features so it helps him/her to make some forecast for the remaining work in the Product Backlog and communicate the information to stakeholders and make scope vs time trade-off decisions.
